Pastor Kyle Fittje was installed as our Senior Pastor on Sunday, January 4, 2026. He, his wife Kristen, and four children moved from Immanuel, Lockwood, MO, in December. We welcome them as they begin their ministry here at St. John’s.

Shelby Betterton
Little Room Teacher
Miss Betterton is in her 6th year at St. John’s. She graduated from Concordia University in Seward with a B.S. in Elementary Education and a Lutheran Teacher’s Diploma. She is an alumni of Concordia High School in Omaha. She has one sister, and she enjoys music, studying languages, and traveling.

Mrs. Hoesly is in her 4th year at St. John’s. She previously taught for 22 years at Columbus Public Schools. She graduated from York High School. She has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Doane Collegge. Her husband, Marcus and her have 3 sons. She enjoys attending her son’s activities and sports.
Jennifer (Jen) Nolan Head Teacher Middle Room Teacher
Mrs. Nolan is in her 3rd year at St. John’s. She was at Humphrey Public Schools (2013-2018) and Humphrey St. Francis (2018-2023) previously. She graduated from Deshler High School, and received er Bachler’s degree from Wayne State College. In 2025 she completed her Lutheran Colloquy through Concordia University.
Kelli Reese
Para Professional
Kelli has served as our teacher aide since 2019. Kelli attended St. John’s school and graduated from Lakeview High School. She received an associate degree in Office Administration from Lincoln School of Commerce. Her husband, Dennis, and her enjoy watching their five children in all their activites, and loves spending time with family and friends. She especially enjoys anything outdoors
